When you start and end the day with positive input into your mind, exciting things happen. Psychologists say that your first encounter of the day has as much impact on your attitude for the remainder of the day as the next five encounters you will have. In addition to the information you receive, you will also be energized physiologically when you listen to tapes on the way to work and again when you head for home.
Drug authority and brain chemistry researcher Forest Tennant, M.D., says that inspirational messages cause the brain to flood with dopamine and norepinephrine, which are the energizing neurotransmitters, and endorphins, which are the endurance neurotransmitters, and serotonin, which is the feel-good-about-yourself neurotransmitter.
Remember that success is a process -- it's not an event. It's the direction in which you are traveling. And also remember that what you get by reaching your destination is not nearly as important as what you become. What you will become is the winner you were born to be.
