"Failing" at Something is a Far Better Outcome Than "Succeeding" at Nothing
We do not "fail" until we turn a learning experience into a negative judgment against ourselves, our vision, our mission, or our team. In fact, if you put six simple words in front of each statement that follows, you'll be taking the first step to put failure in its proper perspective. The six words are:
I didn't fail, I suffered from:
- lack of focus or purpose; that ability to keep our "eyes on the road"
- incomplete or incorrect information; an insistence on moving ahead even if we don't have enough facts
- lack of drive; the pattern of giving up too early or not recognizing more creative options
