When leaving a voice mail for a prospect, do you tease them with anticipated results or baffle them with your sheer brilliance? As a business owner, I've been prospected hundreds of times. Yet, as a sales trainer and coach, I look at these cold calls through a different set of lenses. That is, I use these cold calls as an opportunity to conduct market research. I notice the strategy that each salesperson uses to grab my attention and then determine which one actually worked!
