Gift-Giving to Presentation Audiences

Practical is Best
Many companies have small gifts with their company logo on it and feel compelled to pass them out at the meeting. This is usually a good idea. I highly recommend you bring a gift that will remind the audience of your company every time they use it.

This is vital because many companies have gone overboard and have forgotten the real objective of these small gifts. Don't give gifts such as beach towels or items they will give to someone else and never see again.

Items that work best are those that remind them of your company and that can be used in the office, such as nice desk calculators, fancy pens, writing pads and mouse pads. The only exceptions are golf items, since many executives play golf and will use them often. Golf shirts, golf balls and golf towels are some things they will use and where they will see your company logo long after the presentation is over.
