Avoid Asking: Did You Review My Proposal Yet?

Avoid Follow Up Game That Delays Action

When you are confirming the next steps with the prospect, make sure you not only confirm the time you will meet with them but also ensure that this time will be after they actually have a chance to review the necessary information to make an informed decision or move your sales process forward.

Otherwise, you're running the risk of playing the follow up game that sounds like, "Hi, did you have a chance to review my proposal yet? Not yet? OK, I'll call you next week." This quickly gets old and annoying to both you and your prospect. Also, make certain that you have confirmed who the decision makers are and, most important, exactly what they want to see in your proposal.
